Leadpages is the pick if you want no traffic caps at all, and Swipe Pages is the cheapest way to A/B test a paid-ads page, at $69 a month billed annually.

This guide ranks six tools on what matters when you pay for clicks: the first plan with A/B testing, visitor caps, trial terms and the real monthly bill. It is based on each vendor's own pricing page as listed on October 18, 2026. WireRanked did not build or run campaigns in these tools. One tool, Swipe Pages, has an affiliate link. Unbounce ranks first because its plan ladder maps cleanly onto how paid campaigns mature. Build ($99 monthly or $74 a month billed yearly) gives unlimited pages, up to 20,000 visitors, popups and sticky bars, multi-step forms, AI copywriting and 1,000+ integrations. Experiment ($149 monthly or $112 yearly) adds unlimited A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, up to 30,000 visitors and three users. Optimize ($249 or $187) adds AI traffic optimization, which routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert, with up to 50,000 visitors and five users.

Starter costs $29 monthly or $22 a month yearly but is limited to five pages, 500 visitors and one user, so treat it as a starting point rather than an ad budget plan. Yearly billing saves 25%. Every plan includes unlimited conversions. If you pass your visitor allowance, Unbounce says pages keep running and the overage is charged as a one-time amount; the pricing page does not list the rate.

The 14-day trial needs no credit card, but it is limited to a single user, no custom domains and some traffic restrictions. Search Engine Journal's roundup also puts Unbounce first, while Zapier's prefers Instapage; we side with Unbounce because A/B testing starts at a lower price.

Skip Unbounce if you want a flat bill with no visitor allowance; Leadpages fits that better.

Leadpages ranks second on value. It states no traffic caps on any plan and no overage fees, which removes the main cost surprise of running paid traffic. Its plan cards start at Business, which costs $49 monthly or $39 a month billed annually for 50 pages and two custom domains.

A/B testing starts on Grow, at $99 monthly or $79 a month billed annually ($948 a year). Grow also unlocks unlimited pages, four domains, dynamic text replacement, lead enrichment for 1,000 leads a month and anonymous traffic detection. Optimize ($199 or $159) adds Smart Traffic AI routing, click and scroll heatmaps, multivariate testing, six domains and three seats. Annual billing saves 20%. Enterprise is custom.

Each paid plan has a 7-day free trial, but Leadpages collects a card at checkout and charges on day 7. It ranks below Unbounce because Business has no A/B testing and the trial is shorter.

Instapage ranks third as a full conversion platform for teams that build many ad pages together. Create costs $99 monthly or $79 a month billed annually for 15,000 unique monthly visitors, with reusable blocks and forms, real-time visual collaboration, AI content, unlimited conversions and unlimited published pages.

Instapage's plans page lists no A/B testing on Create. Server-side A/B testing and dynamic text replacement start on Optimize, at $199 monthly or $159 a month billed annually for 30,000 visitors. Convert is custom-priced and adds ad-to-page personalization and heatmaps; it has no trial and is sold by demo.

The 14-day trial on Create and Optimize requires a credit card and is limited to 2,500 unique monthly visitors. Zapier's roundup prefers Instapage to Unbounce, but at list price its first A/B testing tier costs more than any other pick's here.

Landingi ranks fourth because its allowances suit agencies that manage many pages and people. Optimize costs $149 monthly or $119 a month billed yearly and includes 100 pages, 30,000 visits, three custom domains, 10 users and server-side A/B testing, plus EventTracker and Solis AI insights. On monthly billing, Landingi lists a first-month price of $29 for Optimize before the regular $149.

Scale starts at $299 monthly or $229 a month yearly, with unlimited pages and users, 10 domains, programmatic landing pages and client sub-accounts. Enterprise starts at $1,499 monthly or $1,199 yearly. Extra domains cost $5 a month. Every plan includes the Lunar AI page generator and 400+ templates.

Build, at $29 monthly or $24 yearly, is small: 10 pages, 2,000 visits and one domain. The 14-day trial ends at 200 visits, and Landingi says it sometimes requests card details. It ranks below Instapage because its entry plan is too small for most paid campaigns.

Extra traffic costs $5 per 5,000 visits. Every plan includes unlimited pages, AMP pages, mobile-first Smart Pages and checkout with Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay.

Pro Lite costs $9 a year for three sites and lists Premium URLs; custom domains start on Pro Standard, at $19 a year for 10 sites, which also adds forms, widgets, embeds and analytics. Pro Plus costs $49 a year for 25 sites and adds advanced forms, redirects, password protection and site downloads. Larger site-count tiers are available.

How to choose a landing page builder

Buying criteria and research

Landing page builder or website builder?

A website builder makes a multi-page site with navigation. A landing page builder makes focused pages for one action, such as a sign-up or a demo request, and adds tools for paid traffic: A/B testing, dynamic text replacement that matches ad keywords, popups and form integrations. If you already have a website builder and only need an occasional sign-up page, its own landing features may be enough. If you run ads every month, a dedicated builder usually pays for itself through testing.

Find the first plan with A/B testing

Entry plans rarely include A/B testing. Unbounce starts it on Experiment, Leadpages on Grow, Instapage and Landingi on Optimize, and Swipe Pages on Marketer. Carrd's pricing page lists none. Compare those tiers, not the headline entry price.

Check visitor caps and overage

Leadpages states no traffic caps on any plan. Unbounce, Instapage, Landingi and Swipe Pages publish visitor allowances; Swipe Pages charges $5 per extra 5,000 visits, and Unbounce charges a one-time overage amount. Match the allowance to your expected monthly clicks with some headroom.

Read the trial terms

Unbounce, Swipe Pages and Carrd's Pro trial need no card. Leadpages and Instapage require one, and Landingi says it sometimes asks. Instapage's trial is capped at 2,500 visitors and Landingi's ends at 200 visits, so plan a short evaluation.

Worked cost: one A/B testing campaign at 20,000 visitors a month

This is list-price arithmetic for the cheapest plan with A/B testing that covers 20,000 visitors, not a quote. Swipe Pages Marketer costs $828 a year ($69 a month) or $89 monthly. Leadpages Grow costs $948 a year ($79 a month) or $99 monthly. Unbounce Experiment costs $1,344 a year ($112 a month) or $149 monthly. Landingi Optimize costs $1,428 a year ($119 a month) or $149 monthly after a $29 first month. Instapage Optimize costs $1,908 a year ($159 a month) or $199 monthly. Unbounce Build covers 20,000 visitors but lists no A/B testing, and Carrd is excluded for the same reason.

Also considered

Webflow, Wix and HubSpot all offer landing page features inside broader website or marketing platforms. They are not ranked here because this guide compares dedicated landing page builders on A/B testing tiers and visitor caps.

How we chose the best landing page builders

We read each vendor's own pricing page for the plan where A/B testing starts, visitor caps and overage, trial length and card rules, page and domain limits, users, and monthly versus annual prices. We weighed how often each tool leads independent roundups such as Search Engine Journal's and Zapier's, then ranked tools that make testing affordable and predictable above simpler site builders.

This is research from vendor pages, not hands-on use: conversion claims are the vendors' own. Swipe Pages is the only tool here with an affiliate link. Rankings and order were set without regard to payouts, and commissions never affect placement. Prices are list prices in US dollars as shown on October 18, 2026.

Once a page is collecting leads, the next step is handling them. See our best sales automation software guide for follow-up, best free CRM software for a no-cost place to send form leads, and best CRM for agencies if you build pages for clients. Or browse the RevOps software hub.

Final recommendation

Final recommendation

Choose Unbounce for the most complete testing path, Leadpages for unlimited traffic, Instapage for team collaboration, Landingi for agency page volume, Swipe Pages for the cheapest A/B testing, or Carrd for a simple one-page site.

Top pick: Unbounce for marketers who want unlimited a/b testing and an upgrade path to ai traffic optimization.

Price the first plan with A/B testing against your monthly visitors, not the entry plan, and use a trial before you commit.

The 7-day Pro trial needs no payment or credit card. Choose Carrd for a launch page, link-in-bio site or simple sign-up page; choose any pick above it if you plan to test ad variants.
